CPASRF

CPASRF was founded in 1987 and today has members in every state and territory. It has a classification system specifically for athletes with C.P. and offers a competitive sports programme which includes many Paralympic Sports.

wpe36.gif (5821 bytes) Offering a range of activities in sport and recreation, as well as training in both Classification and Coaching, CPASRF strives to ensure that opportunities for athletes with CP are both safeguarded and increased, particularly for women and those with a severe disability.

Why CPASRF ?

Many people with C.P. do not have the chance to take part in sport. Cerebral Palsy affects an individual's performance in sport in a variety of ways; sometimes special consideration is needed. Some athletes with CP cannot always compete fairly against those with other disabilities, and are therefore at a disadvantage in multi-disability events.
